Sorry it has been awhile since I have updated this!

We went to a Church Halloween party yesterday, She was an Ice Fairy!!! We met some of our friends there. We had a lot of Fun!!!

Ashleigh started soccer last weekend, She is pretty good at it, but does not like to be hot and sweaty, so we never know how she is going to do! So far she likes it!

Ashleigh was asked to paint for our local Children's Museum. She decided to paint two dolphins. They had a little art show with some local kids in the area. She got a certificate for doing such a Great job, and she was the youngest artist in the show!!!

The Camp! Beautiful and Quiet we went fishing and had a BLAST!!!!! Danny's Family has a camp about 45 min. from Lake Charles.

I enter a contest awhile ago on Oprah's website to win a spa vacation, or course I did not win the Grand prize but I did win a consolation prize!!! A little bag of Estee Lauder stuff. Little samples of eye cream and perfumes not much but it was from OPRAH!!!

Our dog Bella is sick!!! She has a staff infection! She had to stay at the vets office yesterday. Ashleigh was very upset, she told the vet that Bella was her "sister" as she was crying. They had to shave her to help her heal, she looks very funny!!!

One of my Very Best Friends came to town for the week... She was our Maid of Honor, and my roommate before Danny and I got married. She is in the Army and will be going to Iraq soon. We had a Great time while she was in.

We have a big shop in our back yard and since we moved in I have wanted to do something else with it. So Danny and I started talking about putting a GAME ROOM for Ashleigh(Danny)so as she gets older her and her friends will have a place to hang out. So Danny started about 2 months ago with framing in the ceiling (it was a completely open shop before) and building a wall. Then he insulated it and hired some guys to Sheetrock and float the walls. So last night we stained the floors and today we painted the walls. Danny picked out all the colors, because until Ashleigh can appreciate it he Will use it for a poker room.

Well I had a couple of days off this week so I took Ashleigh to the Civic Center to play in the water...They have an interactive water springer/fountain that the kids can run through. And since we had a COLD FRONT at the end of July and there was very little humidity, we stayed longer then we expected(around 3 hrs during the hottest time off the day 11-2). WE met my best friend Becky and her 5 kids there (ages 5,4,3, almost 2 and almost 1). We had a Blast. Being a MOM I put plenty of sunblock on Ashleigh and none on me... VERY BAD SUNBURN!!! My shoulders and back are killing me.

Afterwards I took Ashleigh for her very first Snow Cone!!! She had to have Rainbow and only ate about a 1/4 of it, but we had so much fun... I wish Danny could have come but he had to work..

The reason I had some time off is because I started a new job. I hated to leave my old one (I was only there 5 months). I loved it, But this one is more of the kind you stay at to retire from...

My Grandmother came from Missouri and brought my Great Aunt DeeDee with her, she is from Kansas. We had a really good time even though they only stayed one night. We ate some cajun food and went to the casino. Ashleigh loved Aunt DeeDee, it was really the first time I remember meeting her. We always have fun when Grandma comes in...

Danny's 38th Birthday!!!(July 3rd)

Danny's is now 38... We did not do much because we have all been a little under the weather since we got back from Reno. But he got 2 Great birthday presents and a Dinner at L'auberge casino buffet. Ashleigh and I got Danny a new gas grill and a 6 person tent. Michael and Summer (my brother and his fiance') helped me with the grill, they had it in the kitchen when we got back from Reno and he opened the tent on his birthday. David took Danny to the Buffet that night, and of course the Fourth we went to his dad's house and he had a crab boil for him. It was so good.

Since we were going to Reno for Laurie's wedding we made our vacation out of it! David and Robbie VanGossen came with us. We rented a minivan and drove everywhere. We went to Bodie Ca.(a real ghost town), Yosemite National Park, San Francisco, Donner Pass and of course Lake Tahoe. The fire started Sunday (the day after the wedding almost in the same spot). We each loved something different. My fave was pulling over and playing in the Truckee River twice, the first time we panned for gold with our hands and actually found little pieces!!! the second time we got in the water(it was very cold). Ashleigh's fave part was the Golden Gate Bridge and the Sea Lions. Danny's Fave was Yosemite although we never saw a bear!!!

Laurie's Wedding was June 23 in South Lake Tahoe!!! Everything was just Beautiful! The weather ended up perfect, a little windy, but perfect! Of course Laurie made a Beautiful Bride, I was the matron of honor, Ashleigh and Emily (Laurie's stepdaughter) were the Flower girls, Ryan (the youngest of Laurie's stepsons) was the ring bearer, Alex and Jonathon(the older 2 boys) were ushers and of course Lauren was there and walked down with Donna (Laurie's mom). They all did a Great job!!!

Being Silly!!!

Ashleigh had her cousin Abigail (my brother's daughter) sleep over last Saturday night. They had a blast. We went to sonic and had ice cream, then we pulled out the couch bed and watched a movie. It was Great until around 3:00Am when Abby woke up screaming (she will be 4 in January) she had no clue were she was. After about 1 minute of rocking her she was back to sleep, But only until 4:00, then I ended up in bed with the girls... The next day they played for hours...
